Kongsberg Mesotech was in need for upgrading its Jira application as it was reaching end of life. At Mesotech, Jira is a mission critical application, used by the engineering group to manage over 100 projects. The challenge of the Jira upgrade was to maintain the existing workflows and configuration. Staff training was also required to ensure a common understanding of the latest Jira features and best practices.
Kongsberg Mesotech is a world-leader marine systems provider whose solutions are suitable for on- and offshore marine platforms. When an industrial company as mature as Mesotech needs to streamline its engineering workflows, and modernize its legacy systems and train staff on the latest Jira functionality and best practices, there is only one choice available: seek the best and most efficient partner to achieve these goals.

a plan to upgrade Kongsberg Mesotech's Jira from v6 to v8,
train its staff on the latest Jira functionality and best practices,
within the estimated work effort and cost.
