ERP Implementation

RICHMOND, BC, Canada (January 9, 2019) - Canfor, a leader in the forestry industry, has awarded Lazar Consulting a contract to provide management consulting services for the implementation of their ERP system.

Like many other industries, Canfor offers diverse products, that need to be supported by a common platform to optimize results and stay ahead of the competition. From planning and execution of orders to aligning production, managing quality, transportation and invoicing, Canfor is implementing a multi-phase project that reviews and redesigns all aspects of the global supply chain to improve the way work is done and the delivery of services to customers. The current phase of the project is aiming to transform the pulp business in the same way as its lumber business was transformed in a previous iteration. Once the current phase is completed, Canfor’s global supply chain would have undertaken a major overhaul, spanning over 5 phases, in a demonstrated willingness and awareness that IT is the way forward for all businesses.
